We just did an overnight stay best scenario self sufficient as no facilities available. Very tranquil and surrounded by natural beauty. We were the only ones there that night amazing. Went exploring following day.
Located 33km north east of Mingenew on Coalseam Rd, the Coalseam Conservation Park approximately 4.5 hours from Perth. First coal mine in WA.
The main campsite within Coalseam is at ~Miners Campground~, with overflow 3km away at Breakaway.
Beautiful seating area with firepit.
We were traveling in our campervan which was very comfortable.
You can see fossilised marine life in the riverbanks, we saw little fish in minimal water swimming, interesting.
Cute kangaroo visitors in the morning curious enough to allow us to take the shot.
During the wildflower season is known for its beautiful wildflowers for its carpets of native pink and white everlastings and yellow pom pom wildflowers.
Check it out if your in the area worth a look.
Time permitting you can take a walk along many walking trails.
Check it out if your in the area worth a look.
Cheers Rose
