Life short take the challenge.
It's a long way to Karijini from Perth WA but well worth it, Hamersley Gorge most enjoyable for us. Actually departing Karijini NP, and Tom Price, next destination Millstream.
Wow surprisingly visual; Hamersley Gorge easily accessible pools including well documented Spa Pool, temperatures are extreme outside to chill factor within pools, you have been warned.
Both my husband Rob and myself turning 60 this year so it was our birthday adventure.
The tracks are well documented and marked with different levels of fitness.
Hamersley Gorge loneliest within Karijini National Park, NE from Tom Price travelling towards Millstream NP.
Carpark view
Heading into the Gorge, going down! A constant in Karijini NP would make an interesting T Shirt.

Magnificent, mind blowing, challenging slippery, and dangerous all at the same time.
If you are not mindful of your surroundings, Ouch!! One word says it all; “exquisite.”
I found it a challenge to beat the odds quite surprised myself really enjoyed the experience .
Young families middle aged, seniors travel groups all out there in the wilderness. We took to the camping adventure.
You can spend day’s checking out the different gorges if time permits, Its worth it just for the memories.
This is our setup at Budhas campsite before moving to Millstream NP. It was peaceful and tranquil away from society where we could reflect on the experiences.

Budhas Bushcamp
Left hand side of track from Tom Price, free camp lots of space....
Explore the tracks and don't be afraid of adventuring out, as it will surprise.
